I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled

An Ordinance to amend the Squatters Ordinance, 1890

and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to

the Governor's Instructions

This Ordina ce repeals, re-enacts and amends the Squatters Amendment Ordinance, 1909, by providing that the question of com-

-pensation to claimants shall be left to the Squatters Board and not

wholly to the Director of Public Works.
